The Japan Law and Economics Association was established in February 2003.
The purpose of the association is to contribute to the development, promotion, and academic improvement of law and economics through the publication of research on its theory and application, exchange of expert knowledge, collaboration among members of the association, and relevant academic associations, both in Japan and overseas.
