The Japan Law and Economics Association was established in February2003.
The purpose of the association is to contribute to the development,promotion, and academic improvement of law and economics through the publicationof research on its theory and application, exchange of expert knowledge,collaboration among members of the association, and relevant academicassociations, both in Japan and overseas.
